I believe toys are an underappreciated art form that don't get enough attention from the general public these days. I also believe that no one should be forced or pressured to "grow out of" things when they aren't ready. I never got rid of my toys and I don't plan on it anytime soon. Frick societal norms!

Hatch a whole world!
You may remember Hatchimals as one of those "it" toys. You know, the toys that for some inexplicable reason kids absolutely lose their minds over before Chirstmas 2016 and get bored of less than a week after receiving them. For whatever reason Hatchimals seems to have a lot more staying power than most "it" toylines and has managed keep making new releases up until this day. I started out with the spinoff line Hatchimals CollEGGtibles which are the collectable figure versions of hatchimals. I pretty much exclusivly collected the CollEGGtibles and other spinoffs for a while but I recently started picking up some of the electronic Hatchimals from thrift stores and garage sales. My first Hatchimals were the blue deeraloo and dolfinch from season 1 and I got them during 2017.
Cats are scared of pickles but pickles just want love. . .
A line of small bean filled plushies created by the company Cepia in 2020. They are based on the internet trend of startling your cat for no reason by placing a cucumber or other vegetable behind them when they aren't looking. Since then they have released several series and many cute well thought out charaters that push the boarder between playline and desginer toy. Various spinoff lines were created including Dogs vs Squirels, Cows vs Aliens, and more. I started collecting them around 2021 and my first one was Coder Cat.

The most popular model horse brand. Are you even a real horse girl if you don't have any? The history behind them is hard to research and murky at best. Breyer horses come in all different sizes and breeds. I hope to try model horse showing with mine one day but I don't have enough that are in good enough condition for that yet.
